Important - Change in the Laser Control Computer
You have probably heard, Microsoft is having problems with OneDrive. The problem is that your existing OneDrive folders are turning into internet shortcuts or links for some members (it appears that it depends on what server you use connecting to OneDrive). They are working on a solution. Until the solution is found, Charlie has found the workaround shown below. The workaround adds a network drive to your computer making it appear that your files are on your hard drive but are actually still in the OneDrive cloud. I have applied the workaround to the Laser Control Computer.
This requires a little adjustment from you. Instead of looking for your files in the OneDrive area in Windows file explorer, please scroll down to the “This PC” entry towards the bottom of the left side of the window. You will see the folder “TS-Members Projects”. Click on that folder and you will see all members SIG projects. Select “your name SIG Projects” and begin working on your files. Any change you make in this folder will reflected in the OneDrive cloud file since that is the file you are actually opening. Lightburn can open and save these files.
