Cluster Class and Practicum Information
Prior to operating our equipment, new members must complete a Basic Operation Safety course ($10 charge - includes a set of safety eyeglasses) as well as classes to introduce new members to our equipment (Cluster Classes). We have divided our equipment into 10 clusters of like equipment and provide cluster classes at $80. These are followed by group and individual practicum classes where students put what they have learned into practice to produce a cutting board and a serving tray.
Once a new member has attended and passes the cluster classes and our practicum classes they can operate equipment at the woodshop.
